Pediatric Care

There are two things you need to know about pediatric care at Dupont Hospital. First, we treat your kids like kids – with patience, warmth and caring. The emotional needs of a child in the hospital are very different from those of an adult. So we let kids be kids.

Second, as a member of the Lutheran Health Network, we have immediate access to pediatric specialists and sub-specialists from Lutheran Children's Hospital. From a parent's perspective, we're sure you'll appreciate your child being treated by a physician with years of training, education and experience and by a hospital staff devoted to each child.

The Dupont Difference in pediatrics is the way we care for your child and your family. Each child receives the time and attention they need. In 20 years you may not remember each person's name, but you'll remember how we made you feel – cared for.

Mobile Intensive Care Unit

The Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) provides the same level of care as if the patient were in the hospital intensive care unit. In addition to the advanced medical equipment, there is also an onboard staff member from an intensive care unit.
